Every now and then I find linkages between clips of music which have sustained, uplifted and inspired me over the years.
…and sometimes the music resonates with a mood, a feeling…
…during the last weekend, when I decided to begin to explore New Belgrade through my lens, I felt many conflicting emotions
so, these words spoke to me (courtesy of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers)

I thought it up and brought up the past
Once you know you can never go back
I’ve got to take it on the other side”
New Belgrade is the other side, the question is, is it the better side, a new hope, a failed dream, a nightmare, only those who live there know the answer
The only way is forward, learn from the past, don’t repeat the same old mistakes, recognise the good things and don’t let them slip from your grasp, build on the good stuff before it’s too late…carpe diem….
