Time does not stand still in the markets on belgradestreets.

People stand, eat, deal, arrange, serve, measure.

Stare.

Visit.

You will never want to visit a modern supermarket again.

Anywhere.

  1. I love these types of Markets that exist in more eastern Europe, the buzz around the stalls and the really fresh produce that knocks the socks of what can be bought in the supermarket. In Poland we still have these markets and they are quite popular though the super markets are becoming dominant.

    Great images.

  2. Thanks for taking a look, I just love these markets, when I first arrived in Belgrade I was disappointed with the fruit and vegetables in the stores and then I discovered the green markets. They are wonderful to visit on so many levels. Long may they survive! Have a great day. Andy

  3. “You will never want to visit a modern supermarket again.” – this sounds so true on so many levels and for so many reasons!
