“When you have once seen the glow of happiness on the face of a beloved person, you know that a man can have no vocation but to awaken that light on the faces surrounding him. In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.”
― Albert Camus

I wonder what could be seen from the dog’s perspective.
Great quote ! He looks sad but at least he has a home!
That is a very good photo, even if the content is sort of depressing, maybe thats why, showing reality.
You are really good at this type of subject, Andy, and they are notoriously difficult to pull off. Here we have a close view which has a clear context….and some animal life! The balance between the close and wider view is perfectly caught and I like the touches of blue complementing the orange browns.
Thank you!! The look on the dog’s face at the time was almost too much…the longing in his face was palpable…
Thank you, reality bites sometimes
I have a feeling he was longing for more….without quite knowing what….or why?
Arn’t we all? I am.
I think we all long for something.
I agree Andy. I know what, do you?
Then we agree
