Ulica Resavska cuts through the heart of Belgrade. Running down from Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra it slices through Ulica Kralja Milana (which itself drives on to Terazije and Kneza Mihaila) and then bisects Ulica Nemanjina…through the heart of the Serbian Government…
The street is a microcosm of all that Belgrade is….leafy parks, coffee shops, graceful and striking old buildings, trams, cars, people thronging the streets, kiosks selling tram tickets, magazines, newspapers, coke, gum and mobile telephone credit, art galleries, museums, government buildings, apartment buildings, posters advertising music, theatre, art, children playing, couples talking…loving …plotting…history, tradition and a brave and confident hope for the future…
That is what the streets of Belgrade are…
…carpe diem…
Your photos are beautiful, Andy. What camera do you use? Canon?
thank you, I use a combination of my Nikon and iPhone…
