this week, cимина, in dorcol, a street full of contrast, beautiful old buildings and some stark modernistic edifices
this week all covered in snow…icicles hanging like the sword of Damocles from every edge…
another street well worth visiting…

I really like the “another for Mr V” image. Cool set of images.
Do you desaturate the color photos to give them that washed-out quality, or is the city really that grey? I really enjoyed the graffiti shots.
Thanks for sharing.
thank you, think maybe with my next post I may go in search of more colour…
thanks, yes many of the shots have been converted to b&w using Silver Efex Pro 2 and those with colour have often been converted with Color Efex Pro 4 using the bleach bypass filter, in winter Belgrade can seem quite grey, when the sun shines the buildings surprise with their many pastel shades…
I think you’re doing well with the b/w though I am also a big fan of colour. I guess sometimes it depends on your own mood 😉
thank you, indeed…
I love that photo “1,2,3”. I am a big fan of street art and graffiti and I really love your photos here. I enjoyed taking photos of the graffiti when I visited Novi Sad and I spent months translating it afterwards!
thank you, graffiti is quite an art form her…
