stairway to heaven

She wondered what lay behind the locked door.

Turning the key she opened the door.

She walked on down the hall.

Light shot through the darkness.

She needed an answer.

And that tune, those words, haunted her.

“There’s a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
‘Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings.
In a tree by the brook, there’s a songbird who sings,
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven.”

Lyrics to “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin.

All just glimpses but it’s amazing how they add to our impression of your world. The view of the complete set of thumbnails shows how you have placed each carefully in relation to the others in the series. An artists at work. I love the geometry of architectural detail. Great work, Andy……as ever.

A very good study, Andy. The third shot really stands out to me. I love the way stairways in that part of the world are often decorated with plants and cared for… one in Bucharest really springs to mind.
